From the reserved parking outside the front door (on a very busy narrow street) in order to offload luggage, to the cool interior, to the warm reception everything was perfect. (not something I say often, if at all). We had the last room available and I would come back in a heartbeat. I could not fault anything. Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom (love the tiles) good size shower, delightful breakfast spread, very friendly staff, great location, beautifully decorated.

Fantastic service , great hospitality, very good breakfast. The staffs took time and efforts to remember our names despite a short stay. Ray was extremely professiona. All the staffs whom I cannot remember their names are all extremely helpful ! Bed was so comfy that I wish I stayed longer. Breakfast was such a joy. The hainan chicken rice was one of the best I eaten. Better than any of the chicken rice shop in jonker street itself.Roti Canai was so good that we had it at every breakfast ! We will be back for more !

So happy we stayed here!
We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel Melaka. The deco is so…nice. Love the Hang Tuah room with the high ceiling and we were so lucky to be given the room with the garden deck. The staffs at the reception, Lulu and Ray are lovely and so are the other staffs too eg breakfast area etc. The beddings and pillows are very comfortable. We love the Loccitane toiletries and thank you for the complimentary snacks and souvenir. We would love to stay again.

Elegant, very clean and helpful staff. The welcome drink is superb. The interiors of the house is fascinating and you will love the decor. Very comfortable bed and exceptionally clean toilets. Free condiment available in.your room in case you feel hungry at night. The easy 5 mins walk to Jonkers Street is a plus plus and with lots of food and activities. You love the black and white shimmering floor. Will return. The only complaint is the service of food is too slow.

This property is located at the end of Jonker walk which makes it very convenient if you are driving. You will not be stuck in the road closure of Jonker Walker during weekends and it is easy to access parking during peak hours. At the same time it is a walking distance to a lot of major attractions such as Jonker Walk, river walk, Stadhuys, heritage and a lot of Nyonya cuisines. Love the complimentary snacks and drinks which are replenished daily. Room was sound proof, noise from street level was not noticeable. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. Check out the Mamee Jonker walk and check whether the Mamee noodle factory is allowing visitors.

Whatever you do, do not accept downstairs room 07. Despite my making it clear i wanted an upstairs room, I was met with a blank stare at check-in. There is no way you cannot hear what is going on in the dining area immediately outside. Regarding staff service, the young chap at reception was most unhelpful. When I requested for help with unloading my bags from the car, he would not move a step beyond the hotel entrance and only from there, would he help move the bags in. I guess its not his duty to help with the bags. On the plus side, the breakfast is very tasty though the selection rather limited. Some of the staff do try but mostly they do not engage in small talk if they can help it So on the whole, it is not exactly value for money and some of the staff do need additional training.
