Whilst the house is lovely, the outdoor space really sets the accommodation apart. There are a number of different veranda’s and seating areas which allow the outdoors to be utilised throughout the day. We loved it. "We stayed at Agapi Beach Resort from 27/10 to 03/11/24 for the third consecutive year. This place never fails to disappoint. Beautiful hotel complimented by the fantastic staff. The accommodation is lovely and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food is lovely and varied each day. As you walk around the hotel the grounds are immaculate with an array of trees, bushes, plants and flowers. Numerous pools dotted about. The beach is two minutes from the main complex. Beach towels provided every day. There are different places on the complex to eat. We can’t praise Agapi Beach Resort enough. Just something about the place that just makes us want to go back every year. Hopefully we will again in 2025. "

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

Great Hotel outside of Heraklion

"This was a terrific hotel about 25 kilometers out of Heraklion. It was fine for us because we had a car and the driving easy. The hotel was walking distance down the hill Agia Pelagia which is a cute little beach town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the dishes we had- way better than a hotel restaurant usually is. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet was very good. If you are planning a trip to Knossos and the Archeological Museum this is a good option. It was nice to get back to the quiet of an out of town hotel. The only downside is they are trying to hard to be kitschy which is totally unnecessary for such a quality property. We loved it all in all"

"This property has a sister property that is right on the sea. We were invited to use both its beach seating and its pool. There was also a delicious breakfast included in our stay. The staff at both properties were warm and helpful. My travel friend is Celiac and the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate her needs. The only downside was the neighbourhood was limited other restaurants. It's very much a resort neighbourhood, so having a car would be helpful if you want to have better dining options."
