In the centre of Banyalbufar, in an elevated position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, 600 m from the sea, in a cul-de-sac. Private: courtyard. Outdoor shower, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: internet access, WiFi, storage room for bicycles, central heating system. Very steep, narrow motor access. 20 m stepped path (15 steps) to the house. Roofed, parking (limited number of spaces), communal covered parking at 80 m. Parking space or garage only for small to medium-sized cars. Shop 250 m, restaurant 20 m, bar, bakery 80 m, café, pub garden 20 m, sandy beach "Playa de Palma" 25 km, shingle beach "Cala Banyalbufar" 650 m. Walking paths from the house, cycle lane 500 m. The overall location of the village in the mountains where this house is located is amazing. The house is very close to the village centre in a nice place. The house suited us well as a family of 5. The AC unit was on the third (top) level of the house but it did manage to cool the rest of the house to a level that we found comfortable when the internal doors were left open. Outside was over 30 degC most days in our August stay. Everything was clean. We felt the kitchen could have been a bit better equiped. The kitchen, etc are not modern but that suited us just fine. The correspondence from the company that manages the house was in German. We had to cut and paste into Google Translate, which worked well enough though. We had to pay the tourist tax and a 200 Euro deposit to the local agent, which is always a pain. The parking space was very useful. Like most of the mountainous areas, parking and driving is in very narrow spaces. We had a medium sized car, which was really the maximum you could have. The view from the top floor terrace was beautiful. We loved the location. We liked the house and would happily stay there again.
