"The apartment is like a 1970s time capsule! We were a bit shocked at first, but it is super clean and in great shape. There is a washer if you need it and a kitchen with everything you need. "Our group of 2 sisters, plus spouses (very fit age 60's, 70's) stayed here mid-September; it is a beautiful location right on the lake. If the weather had been a bit warmer, less windy and rainy, we would have spent more time on the delightful patio. Getting here, however, on the epically windy roads, and down a very steep driveway, and many steps to get to the apartment, makes it challenging if you're not a good driver/active walker. In general, we walked everywhere on our 4 night stay here....

"The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"We had a very nice stay in this well located home. It is close to the ferry landing so you can hop on the ferry and visit other towns on the lake. The deck is amazing with great views. The town has a couple of fantastic restaurants. If you decide to stay be sure to bring soap and shampoo. Also, if you drive a car, parking is limited for a larger car. There is a parking spot at the bottom of the drive that works if it’s available. You’ll love this place! "
