"My partner and I stayed here for three nights. The location was perfect, equally distanced from points of interests, busy shopping blocks, markets, restaurants, train stations and trolley stops! The rain shower in our room was excellent and alone worth the price of admission. The reception and wait staff were all very friendly and inviting. Strongly recommend staying here if you want to explore Lisbon, Belem, and Sintra. "

"It’s a nice hotel, pool and bar up on the roof area, ground floor has a dining area and bar. The room was spacious had a queen bed and a bunk bed. It’s got a unique vibe, staff is friendly. Close to multiple night clubs on either side, surprisingly the noise isn’t too much to deal with. The lobby has a kind of sewage smell, not sure if there is much the hotel can do about that. "

"Lisbon was our last stop after being in Portugal for 10 days. Although our stay at Esqina was fine, it was not as cozy as I was hoping it would be. I can't ding them on ratings, and I haven't stayed in other hotels in Lisbon, but it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel based on other places I've stayed in Europe. The bathroom was tiny and the lighting was odd. It felt more like a basic travel lodge, versus a cosmopolitan hotel. With that said, the location was great, breakfast was good. "

"The hotel is very central on the Rua Augusta which is what we wanted. It’s on a pedestrianised street full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Arco da Rua Augusta and Praça do Comercio. Easy to catch a tram to Belem Tower and Jeroniomos Monastery. We walked to all other tourist attractions in about 30 mins , but we like that. Excellent little hotel!! "
