"We went to Out of the Blue for a second time with a group of 8 friends. It was fantastic! The staff were amazing and made our stay truly special. The food was amazing. It was great to try so many Jamaican dishes. The house is so comfortable and relaxing and just steps to a fantastic quiet beach. We were sad to leave. We hope to return again soon. "

"Wonderful villa with a great host and onsite staff. Walk to a quiet, beautiful beach. Plenty of room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms! Big plus for a big crew! We had the chefs prepare two meals and both were extraordinary! Full kitchen to prepare other meals. Five star visit!"

The house was clean, area is safe and would stay again. The owner was responsive and easy to coordinate with. "We really enjoyed our week at Sweet Escape. The house was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and we loved the outdoor areas (pool, pergola, beach bed, and beach). Mark was absolutely fantastic! He made us delicious dinners and hearty breakfasts to start our day. We took care of the shopping, but he guided us at the grocery store and made recommendations. "The sat nav directions took us to a field a couple of.mikes away from the property, called thenumber, took a few tries to get an answer, then due to misunderstanding, was given dirctions for coming in the opposite direction that we were.heading, took a few phone calls and a few wrong turns till we got there. The lady on arrival was really helpful. Had choice of 2 cabins. Lovely, vlean and huge bed. Take.mosquito spay though as right next to the water. The view was amazing of the pond....

Unfortunately the two villas show their age: old furniture but generally clean. Our main problem with this rental was that the kitchen was dirty. "We stayed at Treasure Cot at Jake’s with our 1.5 year old for 2 weeks in November and had an amazing time. The house is old and rustic but that’s part of the charm. Right on the beach and a short stroll down the local road from the main Jake’s property. Our house team (Tracy and Oshane) were so lovely and welcoming to our family in every way. Tracy prepared 3 wonderful local meals everyday for us - making modifications for our toddler where relevant. They were happy to chat and entertain visits from our toddler throughout the day. We also had a nanny arranged through Jake’s, Carlene, who was an absolute delight. We’ve been home for a few weeks and our little one is still talking about her “Carly”. At Jake’s itself, we enjoyed the spa on a few occasions and loved the cocktails at the bar. A terrific trip - we local forward to returning in years to come. "

"This property is a hidden jewel. Very quiet and very peaceful. Not in the heart of the town, with all the hustle and bustle. But close enough to the historical town of Black River, the capital of St. Elizabeth parish. Also a little historical fact, it was the first town to receive electricity. The property is near to famous attractions such as Black River Safari, YS falls, Jamaica Zoo, and Holland Bamboo. Love this property!"
