"We booked this hotel en route to Denmark. We were travelling with our three year old child also. The hotel was relatively easy to find, with plenty parking. We phoned ahead as we're running late - which turned out to be a wise thing as reception closes at 8pm. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly, they spoke English (which saved us from using our pigeon German and/or bad sign language) and we were given directions to our room which was in one of the annex buildings. "Just stayed there overnight but the hotel and location left such a positive impression in this brief time that it warrants a big thumbs-up from us (family of 4 dog). Modern amenities, very friendly staff (both reception and breakfast personnel), and such a relaxing location right at the marina and near the beach (suitable for dogs). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a few days at Travermünde, which is a beautiful spot worth visiting!"
