Backyard Ski Condo
It was a very cozy place. Great for parents and our son and his friend. The teens could be independent. It was spring and warm and they could just walk down the hall and put their skis on. That was great! And the interior was nicely wood paneled -- and had a pleasant terrace.

Excellent Place for Skiing!
This place is basically ski in/out, very comfortable, and well located. We were three dads with three daughters that fit well. The ski cabinet was a total bonus, too. Parking was handy. If I had to complain, some of the aesthetic could be updated (kitchen especially), but everything worked well, was comfortable, and it was very cozy. Thank you!!

Great location, fully-stocked kitchen, tired furnishings
If there were separate ratings for location, parking, kitchen, furnishings, etc the location, kitchen and parking (covered) of this condo would receive a five. The furnishing are, quite frankly, falling apart (the wooden piece supporting the legs of the coffee table was broken). The kitchen is extremely well kitted out, lots of utensils, pots, pans, flatware, plates bowls, glasses and they are all good quality as were the appliances, with the exception of the disposal (see below). Could have used more cups, but the cups that were there were also good quality, and to be fair we drink a lot of coffee and tea. Ditto for the towels -- lots and lots of good quality towels. The beds are a bit of a disaster. The bed in the master is a queen and the mattress is a mushy. A King size bed would be great. The bunk beds in the other bedroom are pretty rickety, so much so that if the person on the top bed turns over the whole thing shakes. The saving grace there is that there's a trundle, which we pulled out so the person sleeping on the bottom wouldn't wake up ever time the person in the top bed turned over. Having a hot tub on the deck is amazing, except the water is green and pretty stinky. I don't know much about hot tubs, but I think the water needs to be changed or more chemicals added. We used it regardless and are living to tell the tale, so I guess it's not a health hazard, just an olfactory one. It's a million-dollar view tho. Finally, the garbage disposal didn't work. It was not a big deal for us since we don't have one at home and I'm used to collecting food bits and throwing them in the trash, but others might force stuff down the drain and have a problem.

Condo was ok, Vacasa was terrible.
So the condo itself and the area was really nice. Comfortable for a family of 4. Upon arrival, we were yelled at by the downstairs neighbor as we were pulling into the parking garage for the first time, and rightfully so. The private spa on the balcony was overflowing onto his deck and all of his stuff. I had to run up, quickly pull up my welcome email with arrival instructions to get in and shut the water off. The “spa guy” had been there before us to fix the spa and had left a hose running to fill it up. It was even flooding the parking garage through a drain right above the angry neighbor’s car! The spa was ice cold until late at night our second day. One of the main reasons we booked this place was the private hot tub. There is a community jacuzzi down the hall, but it had so many chemicals that we could only tolerate it for about 5 minutes. Our first morning, my 9 year old son walked out of the room with an entire mason jar full of weed. Apparently someone left a drawer full of weed and supplies before we got there and nobody found it until my son did. Try having that conversation on vacation. It wasn’t hidden, just sitting in the top drawer of the bedroom dresser. I called Vacasa (the property management company that handles everything for the owners) several times. You sit on hold for 10-15 minutes to talk to a person in a call center, who then has to relay all of your concerns to the on-site property manager. They guaranteed me a call back about my concerns 4 separate times—-never happened. Never met or saw the “on-site” property manager. Overall, the condo is pretty much what you see in the picture. Would be really awesome in the winter because it is a true ski in, ski out. Unfortunately, Vacasa is a really bad management company. They need better cleaning crews and better customer service. We come to Mammoth several times a year—-we will not be using this condo or this management company ever again. P.S. Like many rentals in Mammoth, it has no A/C, which ordinarily isn’t a problem. But to cool it off, the windows need to be open overnight and the smoke from the Ferguson Fire in Yosemite has been settling in Mammoth every nite making it nearly impossible to sleep with open windows (temporary, but it’s going to be an issue for a few more weeks)

Having The RIGHT place to stay makes a World of difference!!
Bridges is on the edge of town which is just how we like it. GREAT View, Less noise and traffic but still right up the street from shops, restaurants and roads to travel. Overall, our vacation was AMAZING! At the tail end there was a fire near Reds Meadow and the wind blew the smoke into town... all the way to Bishop!! We spent most of those couple of days in Yosemite (Tuolumne) which wasn't affected and was cooler. We've been using HomeAway for 12+ years and have always been amazed at the quality of our rentals and the price we pay.

Wanna be back again
This is a really nice condo, clean and spacious. We all love the hot tub and enjoy the stary night view. The heater control doesn't really work for us cause we don't have the PIN and neither the manager. After I made a few calls, the management team came and brought us portable heaters on Thanksgiving night. We really appreciate it. You may want to contact the manager before arrival and make sure the heater works. We wanna come back in Christmas but it's all book till next February. Really popular place!

Great Location - Ski in/Ski Out
Great location for boarders and skiers. Ski in/Ski out right near Eagle lift. Private hot tub -- make sure they turn it on prior to arrival. We arrived after 5pm and it was only at 80 degrees. We couldn't use it till the next day, frustrating considering we only had a 2 night stay. Stock the place before arrival and you will be self sufficient for your stay otherwise you'll have to drive to head out as the location isn't really walkable to town. Place sleeps 4 singles or 3 couples. There is 1 double bed in a private bedroom with private bathroom. There is a bunk bed with a double bed on bottom, single on top in another room and the living room has a pull out couch that could fit 2. We had 3 single guys so each had our own space which was nice. Each room has a tv with cable and the internet worked well. Overall a good option for the hardcore boarder/skiier but not great if you are hoping to walk everywhere. Also VRBO's fee's are high - almost a 100% markup.
