"This was one of my best travel experiences, ever. The hotel is walkable from the local Amtrak station and nestled on King Street with access to a free trolley (to local shops/eateries and the Potomac waterfront). The hotel's bar/grille and newly-opened HomeGrown breakfast and brunch were phenomenal. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. And the staff was top notch - giving local tips and even helping me celebrate my birthday with a special treat. I will definitely return. "

"You cannot walk to a restaurant "

"We stayed two nights at La Quinta Inn & Suites (August 2025) and found it to be a great value for the price range. ▪️We stayed in Room 301, a corner room, and it was spacious and very clean. Our family of five fit comfortably, with our oldest sleeping in her grandparents’ room. My parent stayed in a standard room (309) and my cousin’s room (215) were also great. Both my cousin and I had accessible rooms. Our accessible room had two queens and plenty of space, while my cousin’s king room was absolutely huge. ▪️The cleaning staff did an outstanding job. We saw them working hard as a team every day, and they kept the property looking spotless. ▪️Front desk staff were amazing—very attentive, answered questions, and helped with requests like placing our room by my parents and providing extra towels. ▪️Breakfast was decent and the offerings varied by day. On Saturday, there was a waffle and cereal station, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee, plus a hot option of the day (tater tots with biscuit, sausage gravy, and eggs). It was plenty nice for a free breakfast. ▪️The building is four floors, with plenty of parking. Elevators worked great and we never had even had to wait for one. ▪️The pool is outdoors and small (3-5 feet depth), but clean and pleasant. It was in the shade until around noon. ▪️ I noticed people complained about the lack of hooks. There is a towel bar (see pic) and hooks on the mirror (see pic). Overall it was great value for the price range, with clean accommodations."

"The Watermark Hotel was phenomenal! My room was gorgeous, clean and extremely spacious with amazing views of the Tyson‘s area and beyond. The balcony was huge and I thoroughly enjoyed being out there, especially during the evening time where an amazing breeze could be felt. It was quiet and relaxing as well. It made my “me time” all the more enjoyable! My only complaint would be that the elevators take forever, but other than that I will absolutely be back! "
