"Attached to the hotel is the Governor's restaurant (the pictures that show bakery items under glass). Pool and hot tub are well maintained, I see maintenance and staff all around the property from early hours until late. Grab and Go breakfast choices on par with many breakfast options from most hotel chains. Super awesome desk staff, Genn and Julie were very helpful with sites for various topics around town, and requests. "

"We stayed at The Elmwood only very briefly, en route to Cape Breton, but were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. Due to traffic delays we arrived well after their usual office hours (7a-7p) but management had arranged to have a clerk on the desk to greet us -- we very much appreciated that above-and-beyond service."

"A beautiful fun place to have a family vacation. Perfect location right on Lake Cabbossee. The 2nd day we rented a pontoon boat and toured the whole lake ,lovely.We had a blast using all the water toys! Paddleboards were in constant use & I tried Kyaking for the first time .I definitely have the bug now. The kids were fishing night & day. Catching lots of fish!! Of course we spent a lot of time swimming & floating around, then jumping in the hot tub to relax, ahhhh!Dinner on the porch every night listening to the Loons….Beautiful. It was also nice to have all amenities nearby in Agusta Supermarket, meatmarket , Restaurants, Oh & Fielders Ice Cream yum !!! What a great time we had. I recommend this property to all.Oh and the sunsets were spectacular "

"The location is perfect, right on the lake with a private dock. The screened in porch gets you bug free evenings to listen to the sound of the lake after sunset. This is a lake camp. Tidy and comfortable. Rustic yet functional. "
