Great place to stay for a few days while exploring the area. Not easy to get to but at the same time central to Taupo, Rotorua, Waitomo and National Park. Gottage and sleepout both well equipped and clean.

Great bach in central Mangakino
Lovely space to stay with family in Mangakino. Everything we needed was provided from towels to washing powder to nice clean bedding. Walking distance to the lake and the shops, we had a great time!

Clean, organised, great location and has everything
We stayed for 5 nights at this property. Graeme is a great host. Everything was so organised with great communication. Property is fully fenced and has a big front yard. Great for kids and pet to play. Located walking distance to the Lake Front Reserve. Had everything we needed for our stay. Hope to be back one day. Thank you !

A great place to stay
We used this as a base to visit Turangi, Rotorua and Hobbiton. What a great location. The accommodation is well set up with everything you would need on holiday. Very quiet, light and airy, lots of room and if you are interested in watching sport on TV, there are more channels than you can imagine. But who wants to watch darts when the Waikato River Walk is just down the road? Would love to come back.

We all throughly enjoyed our stat
We had 2 issues 1 was explained to me before I arrived and that was no hot water in the sleep out. The shower inside has a small leak. This didn’t create any issues for us but just noting it. Would stay here again
