The Brick House on MW Chain, 200' of Frontage

The Brick House at Alderwood Resort is located on over 200’ of Alder Lake frontage, part of the Manitowish Waters Chain of 10 Lakes in northern Wisconsin. All 10 lakes on the Manitowish Chain are navigable from May through September. The Brick House is a scenic 10-minute drive from Manitowish Waters, 30 minutes from Minocqua, and 45 minutes from Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The Brick House features 5 large bedrooms with closet space, 3.5 bathrooms, bay windows, screened porch, 2 fireplaces, 2 private docks, plenty of interior space for your entire family or group, and 2 car garage with lots of driveway parking.

Amenities include: central air, wi-fi, direcTV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, campfire pit, two wood burning fireplaces, complimentary supply of firewood, well stocked kitchen, pack ’n play, stroller, and high chair

Activities include swimming in Alder Lake with a gently sloping lakeside yard that is ideal for convenient lake access. Within a 1-hour radius, our area is abundant with hiking trails, mountain biking trails, waterfalls, and many other places to explore. Bike the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail, a 50+ mile paved bike trail that's known for its bridges and beauty. In the fall, walk the cranberry marshes and experience harvest, which is referred to as "the world's most beautiful harvest” or take a drive to entire the colorful foliage.

Up North Get Away
Our group loved the Brick House! It had a lot of room and the view was amazing! The house was very clean and had a great location. We had no issues and the group had a great weekend going to the Fall Art Tour in the area. Looking forward to using this house in the future.

Comfortable up north home
Alder Lake is a beautiful lake on the Manitowish Chain and we thoroughly enjoyed this well appointed home as our Base for exploring the many lakes. Becca was very helpful.

Enjoyed stay. Extremely quite and peaceful. Beautiful setting on lake. House was very spacious and extremely clean. Two docks with room for boats. Lots of fire wood supplied for gatherings around large fire pit. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy outdoors .

Nice property!
We made the best for snowmobiling, looks like we missed all the snow! We ended up trailering up to Mercer and rode north from there. Trails were great. The house was really nice n plenty of room with all the amenities needed. Thank you!

Spacious clean home on sandy frontage
Very spacious home for everyone to be able to get quiet time if needed. Nice sandy lake frontage. The lake this home is on doesn’t have a lot of traffic on it but if you would like more action you could head to some of the other lakes on the chain. This home is very clean and has pretty much everything you would need for your stay. I am very fussy and would definitely rent this home again.

Endless Activities
We had people of all ages and noone at any point was bored! The family rooms are large enough to accommodate quite a few people and there are also plenty of rooms if people want to split up in smaller groups. We had fun sledding and truly enjoyed the views in winter! We're hoping to be able to return in other seasons as well. Wonderful location and very well kept house! Becca was responsive and accommodating, thank you!!

Perfect Northwoods Getaway
We had an amazing stay at the Brick House! Becca was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and very helpful. The house itself was very roomy and yet cozy at the same time. My mother uses a wheelchair and had no problem navigating the house. The house sits right on the lake. It was such a beautiful view. The two docks were great to tie up our fishing boat and fish off of. The provided kayaks were a ton of fun! We definitely hope to return next fall! I would highly recommend the Brick House for your stay in Manitowash Waters!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting
We just returned from a long weekend at the Brickhouse, and couldn’t be happier! Becca was wonderful to work with, and the property was absolutely perfect! The house is perfectly appointed and cozy while being large enough for everyone to have their own space when needed. The lakefront location, available rowboat, and sandy entry into the lake made it very easy to entertain our kids (ages 10, 12, and 14). The wifi and smart tv kept everyone happy on rainy days, but with the gorgeous location and many local activities we weren’t inside much during the day. Everyone had a wonderful weekend, due in large part to the Brickhouse and the many amenities there. We highly recommend!
