"The one extra star was for the property. It was nice being directly on the lake. As soon as I walked in my room I could hear every word the neighbors said and they were talking at a normal volume. After being in for five minutes I asked to switch and she said there was only one left and it costs more so I decided not to upgrade but when I got on hotels.com again there were a lot of options at this location for my dates, so I don't know what that was about. My room was connected to another so when the neighbors cooked my whole place smelled like greasy food and I had to buy air freshners to keep in the room. I also booked one with a picture of a kitchen but was given one without one, which I wouldn't have booked if I had known that. I also booked on hotels.com because I was tired of airbnbs cleaning list but low and behold this one had one too. Also the cleanliness of the place was not up to expectations. The shower curtain had black finger prints in the corner and the shower had hair and dirt in it that rinsed away as soon as I turned it on so they didn't even rinse it out after the last guests. The grout looks chocolate brown throughout the place but if you look at the corners it's light gray in the main room and off white in the bathroom which means I guess they just swiffer in between guests? It was gross especially in the bathroom so I bought house shoes because it didn't feel comfortable walking around without shoes. Looks clean from a distance but not if you look close"

"We had a family emergency and booked quickly and close to hospital. Everything was great. Clean rooms and quiet. We came and went at all hours and parking was great and available close to our entrance. Well chair equipped and staff kept us in clean towels. Renovation was in progress but wasn’t a hindrance of service and noise wasn’t a problem. Thanks for the warm breakfast"

"The room we stayed in was wonderful, the bed was so comfortable it was a great nights sleep. The staff was friendly and paid the $9 extra for the breakfast at The Rock restaurant it was delicious. We will definitely stay there again. "
