"Last minute stay in a traditional pub hotel. Room was fine and quite big although I didn't go inspecting everywhere. Had a little black around the shower but hey it's not the Hilton. "This is a lovely friendly pub with excellent staff. The locals were welcoming as well. The beer brewed on the premises was excellent as was the food. I can't fault our stay there. Plenty of parking at the pub now, with a new car park. Handy travel time to Critch, Matlock and the Peak District. Located on the side of a steep hill, so walking anywhere is a good bit of exercise!"
