A Breath of Fresh Air
A delightful place to revive and refresh. The farm animals add a unique charm, and the house is lovely. Close to trails, the State Park, and tourist activities. Highly recommend.

Great Stay
Unique adventure for kids and adults. Large historical farmhouse property with animals, fishing, paddleboat, campfire, grilling and so very quiet at night. Great hiking and canoeing nearby. Everyone had a great time!

Absolutely adored this stay and the beautiful property. The animals are so fun to feed and watch! My favorite part was the cats because they are super friendly and will cuddle with you while sitting on the porch. So sad I couldn’t take them with me :( If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place!!

our family has stayed twice at mohican farmhouse. plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. well stocked kitchen. the front porch , back screened in porch and deck offer numerous spaces for family members to be together.. family enjoys the paddle boat, catch and release pond and firepit. owners answer questions promptly.

Weekend getaway for all
We had all ages and dogs and everyone was happy! Kids loved the animals and feeding the cats daily and adults loved relaxing in the screen porch and watching the turkey and the chickens. Nice kitchen and enough room for us to enjoy our meals together. Convenient hiking right from the house to take the dogs on walks. Very nice stay!

Annual late Christmas getaway
This was a return visit for us because we had such a good time last year. The grandkids love the animals. The adults take turns cooking in the spacious kitchen, equipped with everything we needed.

Great Farmhouse
We stayed at the farmhouse for a weekend in April to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. The owners allowed us to check in early so we could decorate for the surprise. I was so excited to see that they left "feed" for us to feed all the animals. We had 4 kids all together, ages ranging from 9 to 14, and they loved feeding the animals and fishing in the pond. The back enclosed patio was perfect for us to gather and play board games. I highly recommend for a great time!

A great place to just relax!
We had a great time hanging on the farm! We had 5 boy 9 & younger who loved being outside fishing, feeding the animals and making S’mores by the fire. The owner was great and helpful. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life this is a great place to go!!

Wonderful Property
We met to celebrate an early Christmas. 6 adults and 4 children under 9. It was wonderful, the house was decorated for the season and definitely exceeded our expectations. The kids had a blast too, feeding the animals and exploring the property and nearby state park. We also went to castle to see the lights which was a short 15 minutes away. I recommend for a little getaway.

Booked this property for my family . We all enjoyed the animals and beautiful property. The farm house was neat . Some original and some newer additions. Very relaxing and private. We had a fire in the pit outside. Catch and release fishing at the pond on site.

Fun at the Farmhouse!
This was our 2nd stay at this clean, spacious, well equipped home. We spent our time visiting the animals, fishing in the pond and playing games. The kids named the cats last year and greeted each one by name on the porch. No need to get in the car; plenty of entertainment right on the farm!

Wonderful, peaceful property. Perfect for animal lovers!
We had a group of 10 adults and we brought our pups along. Everyone had a fantastic time. The animals were a huge hit! The stray cats are all incredibly friendly, and the farm animals were so much fun to visit and feed! The kitchen has every tool you'd need to create a feast, and there are 2 charcoal grills behind the farmhouse, perfect for grilling hamburgers and hot dogs.

Very Cute Getaway!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We unfortunately had rain (in August), but it was no bother since we could sit and enjoy the rain inside the enclosed screen porch. It was still beautiful and relaxing! The animals were really cool to have on site. The kids got a kick out of it. The property was very clean and the lawn perfectly maintained. We would gladly plan to stay here again. They also have accommodations for babies/toddlers that weren't listed on the site and was a pleasant surprise.

Girls weekend
9 women, friends for decades... First adventure of this nature without spouses, families. Everyone LOVED the house, the property and the animals. The weather could have been better but it did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying every minute. We did not want to leave!!! Felt like staying at grandma and grandpas farm... Charm galore and cozy. We loved and appreciated the country, rustic flavor. So peaceful and off the beaten path. We didnt leave the property except for the short walk up to the top of the hill to wander around a charming old cemetery and survey the damage from last years tornado. Planning on returning to this farmhouse oasis!!!!!
