The historic charm of this pioneer home will surely enhance your Manti experience! Built in 1851 with the same rock as the temple, yet fully updated for comfort. Come stay in one of the State's oldest homes! 1 block from the Temple property (2 blocks from the temple). 1 block from the high school, swimming pool & fairgrounds. Great location! Located near Manti Canyon-a great access to Skyline Drive. Manti is ATV friendly so you can leave directly from the cottage on your ATV.

This is a perfect home for honeymoons or anniversaries. Also for larger groups don't forget to check out the Cottage's sister Property: The Manti Manor-an 1871 rock house located just kiddy corner from the cottage. We stayed at this sweet property with our youth group to see the Temple. It was full of character and charm! Had everything we needed and loved walking right outside the door and seeing the beautiful Manti Temple! We loved the special touches of history for the house as well… gave us a great connection to the past.

We enjoyed this house in Manti, plenty of beds for our group. The house was so close to the temple, the kids loved the goats out back. The house was clean, just the upholstery furniture in the family room could use a good deep cleaning. We appreciated the pioneer feel, well stocked cabinets, and warmth as we stayed on some extremely cold days. I would warn guests that the staircase is narrow and not possible to navigate for elderly.

Beautifully restored 1851 home offers unique experience. Meet the owners who shared more of the history and extended our checkout time so we could enjoy a relaxing weekend with a sister I rarely get time with. We will be coming again.

Our recent stay at the Manti Cottage exceeded all expectations! It offered a clean and cozy atmosphere with convenient access to the nearby Manti Temple. The attention to detail in the cottage's restoration was truly impressive and evident in every aspect of its design. Complete with beautiful antiques and modern comforts, our experience was both charming and rejuvenating. We highly recommend the Manti Cottage for a tranquil getaway filled with charm and relaxation. The property was clean and very cool. But to tell you this is a real pioneer experience is an understatement. The floors flex beneath your weight and slope, and are quite dangerous if you may roll an ankle; you can literally see through to the ground level in areas. The beds may also come from the 1800s, you will feel every spring and hear every movement across the house. Just getting luggage up the steep and narrow staircase is an adventure. The hot water is minimal. When it says it sleeps 12 know that is in 3 bedrooms. Promises made by the property owner were not kept. While the owners are very kind and friendly had I understood what this home really was I may have paid to tour it but certainly not to sleep there. I literally laid awake most of the night wondering if the floors would support us. It was honestly scary

This was a great place to stay! The owners were very responsive in communicating with us, and the house! Wow! What a history. The family restored it to its 1851 glory. It’s beautiful. We loved it. And they added many, many touches that added to the historic atmosphere. We loved the binder/book that showed the renovation process. And, the house was very comfortable and ‘modern day’ functional. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again if our travels take us in the Manti direction. I

This beautiful historic home was so fun to stay in. We loved the attention to detail in the decor and its vintage style. It was a treat to read about the historic details of the home and its restoration process. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you! This little cottage in Manti was such a fun, charming, comfortable stay! We had so much fun learning all about everything that was historically restored in the house. The hosts were so great, kind, and so welcoming. The house was clean and we loved seeing the animals they have on their homestead! We would definitely come back if we make our way back to Manti, couldn’t recommend more!

There are lots of interesting antique furniture pieces with notes adding context. There are beautiful quilts throughout the house. This was a fun pioneer-ish experience, but with modern updates. Cupboards were stocked with a few things for us to fix a meal if we forgot to bring something.
