"Second visit to this hotel. Hotel faultless..position amazing..4 mins walk to Station for train to Lisbon 15 minute walk to the furthest of 50 plus restaurants. All are great! Cannot recommend highly enough Hotel virtually on the beach. Great virtually flat walking in both directions beside the sea with many places to drink and eat."
"Perfect location around 5 minutes walk from Marina, 10 minutes to town and 15 to train station. Friendly staff, clean rooms and lovely seawater pool. We even saw dolphins from the hotel twice. "
"Location is very good. A short walk (5 mins) from the yellow quarter. 8 min walk from the centre of the old town. 10 min walk to the supermarket and train station.
One of the few hotels in the area that has a pool which was great. Very peaceful and just what’s needed to relax. There are limited sun-beds but we didn’t have a problem getting two when needed.
Pool towels are provided and can be replaced every 3 days of your stay.
All amenities provided such as shower gels, shampoos, shower cap, hair dryer.
Some complimentary drinks in the mini fridge were a nice touch.
Wardrobe space is limited but hangers are provided.
The actual beds were comfy however the pillows are quite flat and can get uncomfortable.
Due to the building being old and having some great history, the aircon system isn’t a standard modern aircon unit. It’s located on the window sill so if we were to close the curtains the circulation would be hindered of an evening. It worked great during the day and kept the room a nice temperature.
Breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. Everything was stocked back up very quickly.
