Welcome to your secluded, off-grid, riverside retreat in the gated community of Cascade River Park in Marblemount, Washington! Set along the picturesque Cascade River. This charming cabin offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers and those seeking a comfortable off-grid experience.



Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape while still enjoying modern luxuries and conveniences. The cabin features a well-equipped kitchen, coffee bar, wine bar and it comes complete with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Relax on the private deck, where you can do some grilling, soak in the fresh mountain air and savor the tranquil ambiance. Spend your evenings soaking in the wood-fired hot tub while listening to the sound of the river just a few feet away, stargazing or sharing stories around the fire pit, while creating cherished memories with your loved ones.



While nestled in nature, the cabin offers off-grid features such as propane for heating and cooking. A wood burning stove along with an all-natural, mineral based wood fired hot-tub. As well as a reliable backup generator to charge up the 24v batteries that power the cabins lights, tv's and internet. These amenities provide the perfect balance between comfort and a connection to the natural surroundings, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful retreat while still enjoying modern comforts.

Perfect location!

Such a beautiful cabin! I was a little hesitant about the off-grid/generator run amenities, but the hosts made everything very straightforward and they have thought of everything! And we never dropped below 90% energy use of the house. If you are looking for a cozy stay near the national park, this is the perfect cabin!!

Incredibly peaceful cabin! A true place of healing and bliss along the Cascade River. It's conveniently located near the Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm Trails, with easy access to supplies in Marblemount.

This home is so nice! Everything is done thoughtfully. We loved the hot tub and candles and listening to the river. Close to Northern Cascades NP and lots of great hikes. Hosts were great with communication & had everything we needed for a lovely vacation.

The host has thought of every detail, to make this a great place to base camp while exploring the North Cascades or to simply relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Quick getaway
We were looking for a beautiful spot to take my 78 year old mom who loves the woods, but does not get around as well as she used to. This place was gorgeous. We felt like we were right in the woods as the full moon lit up the river. Really special place.

The perfect off-the-grid getaway
The cabin is located in the best location. It is tucked away yet at the same time close to restaurants, the general store, and a gas station. The best part is that you have access to the river in the backyard which provided the best views and nature soundtrack that made the stay that much more spectacular. The cabin had everything we needed from cooking supplies to games. We truly fell in love with this cabin and are eager to rebook this place again.

Fantastic place in the woods, just outside the entrance. Must stay in North Cascades National Park!
Loved, loved, loved this place. We have stayed at over 15 VRBO’s this has to be one of the top places we have ever stayed. The remoteness or slight remoteness. The river, the wood heated hot tub. The fact it’s on generator, the Wolf oven, burners and huge indoor griddle. My 16 year old son made delicious egg fried rice. He felt like a Japanese teppanyaki chef. Made s’mores everynight on the outdoor fire pit listening the gorgeous river.

Incredible Oasis
My sister, brother in law and myself stayed for 3 nights to be close to all of the great hiking around. What we didn’t anticipate is how eager we were to get back to the cabin and how we cut our adventures short so that we could spend more time here! Everything that is described is exactly how the property is. The owner is fantastic and extremely responsive. We were more than thrilled to be here and cannot wait to return with the rest of our family!

Cascade cabin
This place was awesome! I have never been somewhere so serene and wonderful. Great place for family time. The river is so close. We hiked, rafted with Triad, and spent countless hours playing in the river in the backyard. Ron is so responsive and you can tell they want you to have a great experience. I would still recommend even though Highway 20 was closed. We found plenty to do. Definitely one of our favorite rentals ever!

Perfection along the River
If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 I would. It is clearly loved by the owners and super simple and practical. It also has all of the modern amenities with the gas oven and griddle. The owners were super accommodating and communicative and the hot tub was icing on the cake. I’ve bath in the river that was steps away straight to the hot tub that we were able to get to the perfect temperature. A needed disconnect from our very busy lives. We will stay here again. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Great Cabin
Great cabin, beautiful back yard. Hot tub legitimately works!! We wondered how tub heated with wood would work - as well as a regular one. View from the cabin is great. Close (relative to other options) to some of the best hikes. Maple Loop likely best hike we have ever taken. Ron (owner) was fantastic with communication. Only very small suggestion - a drape to pull closed for privacy by the mainfloor bedroom would have been nice. Small point though - place is awesome, would stay again.

Wonderful place to stay
We has such a great stay in this magnificent property. The owners were awesome with communication and even brought us fans when we told them it was a bit warm. There are small details throughout and you can tell a lot of time and thought went into this home. The outside area is amazing and we spent most of our time there while not enjoying the park, however there are many board games and a foosball table. The place was impeccably clean and the bedding was sooooo comfy. Only downside was no cell service unless you were in the town of Marblemount, but thats the point right? Very grateful we found this wonderful place.

Best Rental I’ve Ever Stayed At
So the listing looks amazing, and the price point is a hundred bucks more than others, but the surroundings looked like they were worth it. WE WERE ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWN. This is by far the best vacation rental I have ever stayed at, and I own some myself!!! There’s ZERO cell service in the area, but the system these guys have set up at this off-grid dream getaway has your wifi working out in the yard, just in case you can only get away 90% of the time (; Amazing. Thank you so much. Already booking my next trip here to show my fiancé.

A Weekend in Paradise
The photos and descriptions of the property fail to do it justice - it's a paradisiacal Eden nestled within minutes of of the utopia that is the North Cascades National Park. My guests and I were overwhelmed by the beauty of the grounds, the attention to detail, the bountiful amenities, and so much more! The cabin has electricity, hot water, firewood, lanterns, internet, a stream in the backyard with breathtaking views and more little thoughtful touches than could ever be recounted in a short review. It has to be experienced to be believed!

Perfect location for North Cascades NP!
We spent 4 days staying here exploring the North Cascades National Park. What a perfect location just a few miles from the entrance of the park. We loved the cabin too, we've never seen a more incredible mountain stream view from a living room or back patio! The cabin was stocked with so many great guide books and maps about the region so you could plan your days. It was so great for cooking and relaxing at the end of each day's adventures. Speaking of adventures, in addition to hiking, we went whitewater rafting one day using a company called Triad. Their pickup location was in a parking lot right down the same road you use to access the cabin, again so convenient. And it was a great time on the river! I highly recommend this property for anyone interested in making the most out of adventures in the North Cascades National Park!

Fantastic mountain getaway!
My wife and kids (ages 10 & 13) stayed for the long Labor Day weekend. It was a great spot for day hikes in the North Cascades. The cabin is a great balance of quaint and quiet, yet comfortable and convenient. It’s only 10 min from the local shops and stores, and while it’s off the grid, it has all the electric and internet amenities needed to plan your next hike and stay connected with friends. The kitchen stove/oven is massive, and there’s a brand new grill as well. The wood fired hot tub was a neat touch, and the calming background rush of the river rapid is perfect. You do need to be comfortable with some basics like running the generator (very easy: turn a key, push a button), and building fires for both the fire pit and hot tub. We’d love to stay again some day!
