Casa sul mare. Costa del sole

The casa sul mare is located on the idyllic west coast of the island of Elba, the costa del sole.

The apartment is on the first floor of a pretty little house with sea views.
Another small bedroom with its own access is available on the ground floor of our house. Also a shower room.
The bedroom of the apartment, quiet and spacious, convinces with its neat equipment. The small bathroom with hip bath, bidet and sink is functional and adjoins the bedroom.
An impressive view of the sea and Corsica opens from the living room and the small kitchen. The living room offers space for a reading corner, the table group with four chairs, the television with German and Italian programs.
The spacious terrace is a place to linger with its panoramic view, the awning offers protection.
An additional possibility to eat or read in the shade is the pergola on the edge of the terrace.
Another pergola below the house invites you to enjoy a wonderful panorama, sunbathe and relax.

The house is located below the village square on a path that leads to the sea. First past the last houses, then through a holm oak grove past historic dry stone walls to the bay. The Bay of Patresi is also accessible via two mule trails. The special value of the location is the unobstructed view of the sea, in the evening wonderful sunsets over Corsica.

A small rocky bay belongs to Colle d´Orano, in the neighboring town of Patresi there is a managed beach with a bar. Nearby sandy beaches are Sant'Andrea and Fetovaia. The Parco naturale guarantees tranquility and landscape protection. On old mule trails you hike to the sea, to the surrounding mountains, to neighboring towns and on mountain trails across the island.
Picturesque places in the vicinity are Marciana, Poggio, Marciana Marina. Marciana Marina has a number of good restaurants and bars, shops, wine tastings. You can visit the surrounding markets every day of the week.
Medical services are available in Marciana Marina, a hospital in Portoferraio, the capital of Elba.
The beaches around Colle d´Orano have a wonderful water quality. They are suitable for swimming, snorkeling, diving and climbing. There is a diving school, sailing school and boat rental in the area.

Other sandy and rocky beaches are easily accessible by car.
The small grocery store is convenient and good, just a few houses away, as is the village pizzeria.
Hiking trails around Colle d´Orano have been expanded and signposted. Medieval places like Marciana and Poggio add to the charm of the area.
