However, in our room we were missing a bath towel, tissues and the cups in the bathroom had liquid in them which was not water. We asked for a bath towel and I saw the clerk get one from a laundry basket. When he gave it to us it was damp and appeared dirty. "This chateau is not a special place apart for the garden. The rooms are big but not very nice, so is the bathroom. There is no shower, only hand shower. The amenities are very poor. Breakfast is a continental standard, and dinner less then standard. They didn't offer even a bottle of water in the room for free."
