Port Hill House is a lovely, bright home offering comfort, peace and serenity to its guests through ample natural light, beautiful views of the surrounding area, and thoughtful, sumptuous furnishings throughout the space.
Guests will enter Port Hill House into the large, impressive, open-plan entrance hall. On the left, you will find a large, open-plan kitchen/dining/living room – a delightfully sociable space with a peaceful living area and the smaller of the home’s two dining tables, seating 6-8 guests.
The impressive country kitchen is complete with a double sink, American-style fridge/freezer and an AGA as well as two electrical fan ovens, providing plenty of space for even the most ambitious of chefs to rustle up a hearty meal after a long day’s exploring. Patio doors onto the garden welcome in an abundance of natural light.
Just off the kitchen is a spacious utility room complete with washer/dryer. The utility room then leads onto the snug, a cosy space overlooking the garden, complete with a sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements.
Located across the entrance hall from the kitchen is the impressively spacious living room, with an open fireplace and ample seating for all guests to relax together and socialise, be it for family board games or indulging in an immersive movie night courtesy of the 55” smart TV. The living room boasts stunning bay windows overlooking the garden, with adjacent armchairs making for the perfect reading space to cosy up with a book whilst absorbing the peaceful views.
The downstairs of the property also has a sizeable dining room, with a large dining table seating 14 guests and French doors leading onto the garden, an office complete with desk and chair, and a downstairs W/C for ease.
Upstairs, the master bedroom makes for a calm and inviting space, with French doors and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. The master bedroom’s en suite is equipped with a roll top bath, separate rainfall shower and his and hers sinks.
Bedroom 2 is another large and comfortable room, with built-in wardrobes providing ample storage space and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
The upstairs of the property boasts a further 4 gorgeous bedrooms, perfect for accommodating larger groups. Every bedroom at this home is furnished with a king-size zip and link bed that can also be split into two separate twin beds where necessary, providing a flexible sleeping arrangement throughout the property to suit your party’s unique requirements.
Outside the home, guests have access to a large patio area complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, perfect for soaking in the surrounding scenery and even al fresco dining in the summer months.
Port Hill House offers parking for up to 4 vehicles on the driveway to the front of the property. We are able to welcome up to 3 well-behaved dogs at this home (additional fees may apply).
