"We chose this hotel as a great alternative value in lieu of staying in downtown Toronto. Driving and parking in Toronto is fairly easy with reasonable day rates so there is no need to stay at a downtown Toronto hotel "for convenience". We chose Markham for its safety and close proximity to Toronto. Hotel was great with friendly staff, clean rooms, great bathrooms, easy and free parking, and fantastic breakfast menu (for a fee)! One odd thing that happened is the hotel charged my credit card...

"The bathroom is small with insufficient towel bars or hooks. What makes it worse is the absence of any ventilation fan in the bathroom. Also the shower curtain rod is installed in a funny way that makes the shower curtain ineffective in blocking the water from spraying outside the tub. And don't count on the fridge to keep any perishable food. It's barely working and the food I brought was spoiled in the fridge."
