"The only issues we had were: 1} Queueing for breakfast - we were down by 8am but those who were later (after 8.30am) had a 20 mins plus wait to get seated. 2}Paying for Parking - must be done within 20 mins or driving in - need to use the machine in the Foyer as a lot easier than the App which is quite a pain to use Apart from that no issues."

"What a lovely hotel! We were upgraded on arrival to a suite as we were celebrating a special occasion, which was a real treat. On-site parking, luxurious bathroom and toiletries, very comfortable bed and welcoming staff. Only small hiccup for us was the lift to the older part of the hotel, where our suite was, was being upgraded during our stay and there was no other route but the stairs, but even three flights couldn't take the tarnish off this star of a hotel Highly recommend. "

"I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly friendly, it was easily accessible from the city centre by the number 7, 14 or 11 buses and it’s quiet. The bed was super comfy and all other amenities were excellent. I was pretty jet lagged so I appreciated coming to this quiet area and resting. Thank you for everything and I will for sure be back!"

"The castle is set in a beautiful estate and has many facilities such as sauna, pool and equestrian centre. our room was very clean and comfortable and near to the bistro where we had our evening meal and a delicious breakfast the next morning. the receptionist was very helpful and we even met the owner of the castle who showed us around the main restaurant. "Arriving late on a dark evening, it looked unwelcoming - but the lass on reception made up for that! The room was large and warm, with wooden furniture, and the "curtains" were wooden shutters: it felt friendly. Characterful: the ceiling must have been about 4m up, an a bit of box trim (proably hiding pipework) made a useful seat or low shelf. Everything worked. The station was a 5 minute walk, town centre likewise. I'd go back if in the area again."

"Had a great comfortable 5 nught stay. Room was clean. Very quiet and safe feeling environment, staff we came into contact were very friendly and every songle one greeted us. No request was too much. Only negatives,- could do with a freshen up with walls a bit stained and a few holes (not expecribg perfection) Table we sat at for breakfast had a sticky layer that was scrapable, and the wall next to the tanle had sometiing spilled down it that looked to have been left to run down the wall.
