The property itself was nice, but front desk staff were very short and rude. As an example, I realized on my first morning that the coffee set up (ie, mugs, packets of instant coffee and tea, sugars) was missing something to heat water with. I called the front desk to request one (politely) and was told they would send one “right away.” At least 30 min later, I called again to see if they might have gotten the wrong room; again, I was told that would send one “right away.” Another 30 min later passed, so I called one last time, and I was given the same reply. I requested clarification, asked if there was some way I could assist (e.g., pick one up), and also asked if there was a way I could get a coffee in the meantime (breakfast had passed). She replied in a very exasperated tone, “we are not room service”…and then she hung up on me. (!!) I was there 4 nights, and I figured it wasn’t worth my effort to ask again after the first morning. But then a kettle appeared the evening before check out. And….it was broken! I can’t help but feel that was intentional.
If you are looking for “5-star” service, this hotel is not going to be the one.
