Overall had a pleasant stay, the hotel owner/manager was not present so there was a lot of communication issues however. Got help booking two diving trips, the first one was quite overpriced but ok and the second was was really good and very reasonably priced. I thought the breakfast was a bit boring, but ok considering the price of the room. The wifi was not working in the room.

In dem Hotel war keine Reservierung für uns , von E-Bookers, eingegangen , ebenso nicht unere Zahlung. Der Besitzer hat erklärt , dass er auch garnicht mit E-Bookers zusammen arbeiten würde

Ideales Tauchhotel im südlichen Roten Meer

Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt zum Tauchen im südlichen roten Meer. Das Hotel direkt in Marsa Salam Stadt ist erst 2015 fertiggestellt mit ansprechender Architektur, einem schönen Innenhof und großen Zimmern. Marsa Salam selbst leidet im Moment noch unter einigen wegen der Revolution noch nicht fertiggestellten Bauruinen, die es allerdings auch entlang der gesamten Küste gibt. So ist es schön, dass das Hotel bereits in der Front schön eingewachsen ist. Der Eigentümer ist zugleich ein sehr guter Dive Guide und Unterwasserfotograf. Er hat die Zeit in Marsa Salam für uns perfekt gemacht: Gute Einführung in die Unterwasserfotografie, tolle Tauchexkursionen und Organisator für unsere Ausflüge, wie z.B. nach Luxor. So hatten wir wirklich einen sehr individuellen Urlaub abseits vom Massentourismus. Für jeden, der nicht unbedingt in einem rundum Sorglos Ressort verbringen will und auch am Abend etwas lokale, ägyptische Authentizität erleben will, ist dieses Hotel und sein Eigentümer eine sehr gute Wahl.

Great dive hotel close to town center.

The hotel is designed for the comfort of SCUBA divers. Rooms are large and roomy and very clean. The pool is very inviting. I can see it getting a lot of use in the summer. The staff is incredibly accommodating. Mohammed was a great dive guide. He was focused on the safety of his divers at all times without restricting divers with more experience. As a PADI instuctor, I appreciated Mohammed's commitment to safety standards. He goes out of his way to make sure guest have what they need to have a pleasant stay. We did 3 days of shore dives. The health of the reefs was amazing. There was so much life not damaged by human interference. I hear that the summer is hammerhead season. I may need to go back and visit Marsa Alam again soon. Go visit Egypt and dive the Red Sea.

Comfortable and convenient for several snorkeling

I stayed at the hotel in Nov 2016. The greatest advantage the Blue Vision Diving Hotel has is the knowledge and cooperation of the owner, Mohamed Salama, who does not spare any effort to make the guests' stay rewarding in getting all the benefits that the area of Marsa Alam at large offer in diving and/or snorkeling. I am considering going back to the hotel in 2017. Highly recommended. The facility is very well kept and housekeeping is professional and accommodating. Centrally located for the restaurants Marsa Alam.has to offer.

Best hotel in marsa Alam

Amazing place to stay - - absolutely stunning - it's only open recently, Youl notice that when you step into your spacious room- with a big bathroom, nice lounge - wonderful style. The couple who run it are great help- she even arranged a car ride to my bus station free of charge!! Great breakfast For the price: it's a great place to stay :) Don't think others can beat it Will defo come back here again and tell others to visit

Pleasantly surprised!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Blue Vision Diving Hotel! In the beginning I was a bit in doubt when I booked as it had no reviews here on hotels.com. Later I found out that they only opened recently and thus had only a few guests and even less reviews on the internet. Bits and pieces around the pool area are still to be finished until spring 2015, but altogether I found the hotel to be in a great condition. It's conveniently located close to the city center but still super quiet. My room was much larger than expected and very comfortable and clean. Service, provided at the moment by the owner and his family, was great and always fun to hang out with them. He was also my diving instructor, which was very convenient and we had a lot of interesting talks at the breakfast table and he took me to some of the most amazing diving spots in the area. Later I found out that he is also one of the best diving instructors in that area. So I really landed a jackpot with my booking :) . Thanks to him, his family and friends my vacation in Marsa Alam was really unforgettable. I totally recommend this place to anyone who is really interested in diving and outdoor activities around the Red Sea rather than just lying in the sun at the beach.
