"This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...

"Lovely house for our stay in St Jean De Monts. Lovely peaceful garden to sit in. The owners we delightful and non intrusive. The area was very close to local shops and the main town was not too far away. A great place to stay with plenty of local places of interest to visit."

"We had a great stay in this chalet with a fantastic private pool in an amazing location. The front terrace view of the lake is a real highlight as are the local walks round the lake and beyond. This includes the short walk to the museum, which had free outdoor events for the family while we were there and a good café. With a short walk to a boulangerie, and under an hour to great beaches, the location was perfect. Overall, the chalet really suited us - a couple with an 8 and 10 year old."

"Great location, very quiet and so well equipped. Everything you need, apart from a washing machine. Beds were comfortable and we had no issue. Easy to get to. I was surprised there was no communication as to what to do with the keys on check out day despite sending a text to the owner. We ended up leaving them in the secure box where we found them on arrival. All in all, a very enjoyable part of our holiday"

The secure pool area was especially good for the grandkids. The property is close enough to the beach yet set in quiet countryside, so there is something for everyone. "This is a great house to base yourself and to explore the local area. It has everything you need. And ideally you can park your car inside the gates for safety, I found this very important as I was travelling by car from Ireland and I wanted the car safe. Adequate hotel for 1 night

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

Cheap and cheerful overnighter

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "

It’s a condo!

They are tiny. And we had no idea that we needed a parking reservation, but you do. And you are expected to clean up when you leave, taking sheets off the beds, and taking the trash to the disposals outside. We don’t require a lot, and everything was functional and clean. I would stay there again. I was just expecting something different. "
