"Situated within the National Park so make sure you check in on time. The Ark is a very cosy, wooden lodge. Fire lit in the lounge area which was welcome as it was very cold at night (early Oct) Staff provided hot water bottles for our beds which was a lovely touch The buzzer system at night is a novel experience and of course we responded by getting up in the night. Room was simple and clean Would benefit from new windows but otherwise lovely "

"We had one night at Davis Court, and the staff was super friendly. It is located in a nice, quiet area of Nyeri a little away from the city center, which we liked. The apartments are spacious, but they are a bit old, and not super clean. They are not super dirty ether. They washed our car as a complimentary service, which was great. For a single night or two where you just need a place to sleep I would recommend this place."

"The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles at night. Definitely worth staying at least one night. Note check in times It’s important as the Ark is inside the park "
