"Stunning location and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had some problems finding it as signs to Pousada were poor, and no directions available. Parking is limited at hotel, although there is sufficient within walking distance. Steep slopes and steps to hotel itself, with no vehicle access, so you will need to carry your luggage some distance, although staff were happy to help. Once in the hotel however, the rooms, restaurant and support were excellent. Well worth a visit for the view...

"We booked well in advance, but upon arriving at 6pm on the day of our reservation, we were met with nobody, then eventually a kind man who called around for us and managed to track down the property manager, who disavowed any knowledge whatsoever of our reservation, going so far as to say he never works with hotels.com or hotels.es or anyone else. He never even apologized for the inconvenience all this may have caused us, his only observation was that this wasn't his fault and that was the end...

"Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. Os miúdos adoraram brincar no exterior e interagir com os animais da quinta. Como aspetos menos positivos a limpeza (alguns locais da cozinha menos acessíveis como as prateleiras de cima dos armários e alguns utensílios como o bule e a torradeira não estavam limpos e prontos a utilizar). "Me parece un sitio tranquilo, bonito, muy bien surtido. El anfitrión (Carlos) estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nosotros que no nos faltara de nada. Además nuestro perro se lo pasó genial. Recomiendo este alojamiento."

"Tapada da Beirã was a charming villa, it had everything we could have wished for, the hosts were lovely and were on hand with advice and knowledge of the area. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax or eat al fresco and a super swimming pool. You need a car to get around, the nearest shop is in Santo António das Areias. About 20 steps from the Villa is a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing as were the staff."
