Who did the renovations, Mickey freaking Mouse? Because it looked like a rat chewed through half of our room. We couldn't even call room service because the 1920's phone kept dislocating. "The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very nice but needs some repairs in public areas. There was a restroom by the main desk which had a broken faucet. They also need to provide more public restrooms for guests because there were none by the pool and only the one by the main desk. It’s not reasonable to think everyone should walk back to their room to use the bathroom if they are relaxing in the main area. "

"We were pleasantly surprised having never stayed at an HI hostel before. Check in was easy, the room was simple but perfect. We loved that the shower, toilet, and sink were all separate so our family bathroom time was more efficient. There was a basketball court, large pool, and outdoor green space available - great for kids. They allow you to use the shared spaces after check out as well. Pool towels were provided.
