Welcome! We are so happy to share The Mildred Haus and Guest Haus with you! It is one of those special Hill Country homes that retains its historic charm and yet has modern amenities. Located in the Texas Hill Country in Mason, Texas. (45 min from Fredericksburg, 1.5 from Austin and San Antonio), It’s the perfect weekend getaway and the bluebonnets abound in the spring! If you haven’t been to Mason yet, you are in for a treat! It is a smaller version of Fredericksburg.

Nestled in the center of Texas, in the Hill Country, The Mildred Haus and Guest Haus sits just East of the historic Mason Square, filled with wonderful shops, restaurants and other businesses. This historic 1872 German stone house with Victorian highlights makes for the perfect getaway.

We loved it.

My kids especially loved this property. This was our first ever experience so I was extremely nervous especially with small children. We will be back to stay here again if needed. Property was wonderful. Communication was wonderful. We loved everything about it.

Weekend Wheeling Trip

This house is perfect for 3 couples and kids. The house is huge and plenty of room. The home is well taken care of and nicely furnished. Everyone agreed we will be back. Big parking lot of pulling a trailer for Wolf Caves.
