"We were entirely satisfied with our stay at the Palm House. It is spacious and well laid out with the interesting quirks common to old houses. We appreciated that it was within easy walking distance of museums, restaurants, and the riverwalk while not being too far from the rest of Wilmington and the beaches. It had been well cleaned, had responsive hosts, and ample linens and kitchenware.Would stay again!"

"A perfect stay!!!! We had 6 adults and it easily accommodated us. Never had to take the car out of the parking spot because it is so centrally located we could walk everywhere. Fully stocked, great beds, and host was quick to reply to any questions."

"Had a wonderful stay at The N'awlins! House during Christmas week! House was fully equipped with snacks and coffee. Management even offered to replace the linen since we were there for an extended period. We love the layout, and the location was perfect for visiting family. Electronic entry was easy. We would recommend The N'awlins! House for any single or couple staying in Wilmington. "

"Loved the smooth contactless check-in! The King suite was clean and welcoming! The only thing missing were hangers which I noticed immediately as I was in town for a wedding! Otherwise the stay was great and the complimentary snacks and refreshments were appreciated! Would recommend to a friend! "

"We had a fantastic experience at this property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated everything was. The location was perfect – close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. We also appreciated the little touches, like extra towels, toiletries, and the variety of board games for a night in. "We had a beautiful family trip to Airlie for Ironman North Carolina. The VRBO was centrally located to the race and festivities. It was a nice, quiet place for us to relax."

"Great get away! This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Fire shack. Jules was very responsive. Her restaurant is awesome. Great food and drinks. We love Bald Head and this is a perfect place to stay, sunsets over the marina were beautiful. "

We knew ahead of time that we had to park almost 2 blocks away in a parking garage but didn't realize how much of a pain that would be. If you are planning on not using your car and walking everywhere then you'll be fine. We used our car often. It would have been nice if we could have just parked right by the apartment.
