Great views!
A clean apartment with great views. A well-stocked kitchen and some great local tips from our host Luciano. Car recommended! It’s a steep climb up the hill to either the town or back home from the beach. The bus timetable is worth figuring out. Recommend bagni Mimi beach club. Very friendly staff and good prices. Idea for improvement, add Netflix or some streaming channel to the tv because it would help to break up a rainy day! We had quite a few during our stay.

Fabulous stay at beautiful home with amazing sea views
Pippo and Rosa were excellent hosts and communication was timely. Pippo even came to the house to check with us to ensure everything was fine. Luiciano, who checked us in, was friendly and courteous. This house is spacious, clean and beautiful; one of the nicest we’ve experienced in ten years of renting from VRBO. The views of the sea are wonderful and we enjoyed the remote, quite atmosphere here. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need to cook a very nice dinner. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and include a jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed the comfortable, large sectional couch for relaxing in the evenings. There was room for 6 to eat comfortably in the dining area, as well as a high-top table in the kitchen. It is possible to use the bus (SITA Sud, 5070), which we did, but it was initially difficult to figure out. From Sorrento train station, look for signage on the bus to “Marina del Cantone” or “Nerano”. Plan on riding about 55 minutes from Sorrento. (Ride through Nerano, past Olga’s and you are one stop away). A parking place is also included, if you plan to rent a car. We booked two, excellent shared boat tours with Pippo’s company, Cooperativa S. Antonio, to Capri and Amalfi/Positano. They were reasonably priced, and so convenient. We could walk down the hill about 15 minutes to the pier to catch the tour. Their boats were modern and clean and their staff was well organized and friendly.

Quiet location with wonderful sea view
This accommodation is exactly as pictured on VRBO. Modern, recent renovation ensures absolute comfort. The views from the main bedroom and the roof deck off the back are outstanding. We loved our morning deck time relaxing with a coffee. Parking is not on site, but fairly close - about 8 - 10 minutes. The accommodation is on a steep hillside, so the ups and downs may be a consideration for some, if there are mobility issues. Also, residents up hill were burning garbage - this was not the routine burning from the olive tree wood (which is a natural odor. The smell was not good and we needed to keep all windows closed on the back of the house overnight. We also realize the property owners cannot do much about this. We found it to be a manageable issue and it didn't affect us after about 10am. Nerano is a lovely, more quiet area and easy distance to Sorrento or Amalfi coast and other sites.

Almost ideal!
This property was very much as described and the pictures are an accurate representation of the home. Nerano and this property are not ideal for anyone with mobility issues; lots of up and downhill hiking and there are stairs to get into this home also. There's a pedestrian pathway that takes you down to Nerano making the walk doable. The home has two bedrooms, both upstairs, and you have to go through one of them in order to access the outside roof balcony where the hot tub is located. This home is owned by a delightful family who also own the local restaurant, Maria Grazia, and the local boat tour company, Cooperativa S. Antonio. Both businesses provide exceptional service and I would highly recommend taking boat tours with Pippo's company. They will pick you up at the bus stop at the top of the driveway and they sail out of Nerano making it super convenient. This family is so delightful that I hate to say anything negative about this home, but I do have to say that anyone with back issues will not want to stay here. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. I did okay the first two nights, but nights three and four were miserable, I didn't sleep at all and was in so much pain, the fifth night I slept on the couch. I hope that they will invest in better mattresses. I do wish them all the best! Like I said, wonderful family!

Beautiful location just do your research
We had an amazing week here. Luciano the hose was brilliant and met us on arrival, showed us where to park, answered questions we had and made himself available throughout the stay. The property itself is beautiful. The pics don’t do it - or the location - justice. 15 mins walk and you can be on the beach (note this is a pebble beach not a sandy beach). The small village square is about a 10 minute (uphill) walk. There are 3 small mini markets nearby but for a proper shop I’d suggest going into Sorrento. Highly recommend the wine tasting nearby, really lovely experience. The villagio nettuno is a cracking pizza restaurant about 10-15 mins walk away (downhill) where you can get a cheap meal. Walk to the beach and you’ll find more of a selection but more expensive. Expect to pay 30 EUR for two sunbeds on the beach (I’d recommend La Perla). Everywhere charges the same and this is one thing I think the property would benefit from - no sun loungers on the roof although there is garden furniture. We only had one set of towels for our stay from the property so bear that in mind if you are a bit of a clean freak. Our listing didn’t mention additional electric charges either but Luciano advised this on arrival. Equates to about 50c per unit payable at end of stay. Strange setup in my opinion but perhaps to stop abuse of the hot tub (which we didn’t use other than to cool down - also could have done with a good clean). Overall highly recommended just do your research ☺️

This is a wonderful property and we loved our stay. Unfortunately, it was during the Italian heat wave, and after we checked in the upper floor AC was not working. Response was initially slow by the manager and owner but then the owner, Pippo, tried to do everything in his power to rectify the situation. Two temporary AC's were installed and finally the AC was repaired before we left. To compensate, he gave us two free boat trips to Capri and to Positano/Amalfi. I would definitely stay there again, maybe for longer time.

Nice place, difficult location
The apartment was very clean and nice, but Nerano is difficult to get to. Be prepared to pay $90-$120 for one way taxi to Sorrento. I recommend the Nerano bus to Sorrento, but the bus schedule is not ideal. The bus takes about an hour to get to Sorrento. Nerano is a serene town with wonderful restaurants and great views but not as active as Sorrento.

A little more difficult after dark to get back (uphill) but we would still truly Recommend staying at this location!! :) One happy traveller from NS Canada

Great clean spot out of town.
I would recommend having a car before arrival (Naples). It’s a great quiet place. If you don’t have a car you can walk to the little town of Nerano (18min trek down and then uphill on the return). The great thing is the bus stop is right at the top of the entry (but you will need to pre purchase your bus tickets from the grocery store in the town first). The bus runs to sorrento which you can possibly take the Ferry’s to wherever. Bus ride from the Nerano to Sorrento is roughly 55 min. I would strongly recommend catching it in town because once the bus gets to the station you have no seating options and you have to stand. The hosts were wonderful and I recommend.

SIMPLY AMAZING!! Perfect in every way
We spent 2 weeks traveling Italy and this was by far our best and most memorable spot. Nerrano is the most beautiful Oceanside town. Away from all the crowded tourist traps, this was a small local area where everyone seemed to know everyone. Beautiful beach a 10 minute walk from the house with amazing restaurants frequented by locals. Maria Grazia restaurant on the beach was like eating in your italian grandmothers kitchen. Highly recommend the Pasta Nerrano. The house location is perfect. Easy to get to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi easily by car. We loved the ease of visiting all the tourist location then coming home to a quite little town that made us feel like family. The house was beautiful!! Super clean, everything you could need. WIFI, AC, washer and dryer, full kitchen and two full baths. Last but not least, the hosts Pippo & Rosa. They are the most lovely family and made us feel like we were a part of theirs as well. They also own a boat tour company, I wish we had known this before booking with another group. We had to drive to Sorrento to take a trip to Capri. For half the price and a 10 minute walk we could have gone with Pippo's company. They were too humble to let us know at booking that they also owned a tour boat. Don't think twice about booking this home. It is simply amazing. The rooftop hot tub was an added bonus!! Book it!!

Tranquility on the Amalfi Coast
The property and the owners/manager of it are fantastic and were perfect at finding the balance between leaving us to ourselves and helping us when we needed it. If you're staying on the Amalfi Coast (especially in Summer) you should absolutely consider this property and the area in general as somewhere to stay. The apartment is well kitted out, has everything you need, but most importantly is a short 15 minute walk from the marina, so we didn't need to drive out anywhere all 10 days we were there, we just walked down to the marina and had our pick of the local restaurants. It's a hot walk in the heat and height of the day too so there's also a convenient bus that ensures you're not sweating like an idiot when you get back home but we only used that in the evenings. Part of the charm of this place is that it's nestled in a corner of the Amalfi Coast that no-one seems to know about, most other tourists are in Amalfi itself, Positano or Sorrento and we found Nerano just through booking the property itself, and it's a quiet little corner of the coast line that tourists generally don't seem to know about, except for the Italian ones. Thanks Pippo, Rosa & Clelia for all your kindness while we were on holiday, it's been fantastic.

Excellent apartment
Fantastic apartment 10 min walk to the beach (find the small paths to stay off the road, steep climb on the way back) Pipo and family are very friendly and welcoming. Happy to help with anything and gave great advice. Apartment is spotless, great space and lovely views. We had a car so it was a great base to explore the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Sorrento as well as a few days chilling on the beach with boat rides and kayaking. Would recommend anyone to book this great place.

Beautiful home
We had a wonderful time at Pippo's house. The newly renovated space is spacious and stylish with beautiful views of the water. We were able to walk to the water, where there are restaurants and a few shops. It's an excellent place for people who want to be a little bit secluded - roughly a 45 minute drive to Sorrento and about one hour to Positano. We loved going through the walking paths to reach the town of Termini, at the top of the mountain, as well as the beach. Though we didn't cook a meal at home, the kitchen has everything you would need and the outdoor spaces include a spacious deck with a hot tub. We would definitely return.

Unforgettable....
Our stay was incredible in this property, the owners and Cleila their assistant were by far the most acomomodating we truly felt as we belonged in this village, they treated us like royalty. No words to describe.... I’m a traveler and I’m in the hospitality industry so I tend to look for all details in very critical way but there was not one thing these owners left out at this property, The home is beautiful and so well designed as is on the pictures, if only pictures could translate the feel you would want to pack your bags and go ther immediately. Our beds were the most confortable from all our stays, this owners really put a lot of thought on this property, if you decide to stay here all you need is maybe a small car to drive around as is so easy to find your way around and your stay would be one of the best in this coast. If not the town bus stop is only a few steps from your front door. I have been in this area before and we stayed in Sorrento and Positano at great hotels but this time we decided on Nerano as it was in between the two and we wanted to avoid being in the middle of the tourist crowds all day long, it is the most peaceful at night, everyone knows each other, the owners are extremely accessible and accommodating, probably the most of all out 5 HomeAway rentals. Pippo, Rosa & Cleila are one the most Elite, Kind,Sencire & Genuine people you will ever meet, they make you feel like family immediately. Pippos wife owns an amazing restaurant right by the water, we had the most amazing food and service, there is enough restaurants of high quality in the area at times you don’t even want to leave the village. If you stay here you are going to want to be back sooner then you think.. love it, love it!!!!
