"The apartment is roomy and nicely equipped with modern conveniences. Less than a 15 minute, mostly flat, walk to the sassi (old town.) The host was great, quickly responding to my questions. Would stay here again."

"I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and visiting Matera in general. The staff spoke great English, were onsite and were very friendly and personable. We were welcomed with a personal sign outside our door as well. It was walkable to everything you needed. The breakfast included was AMAZING (piano player in the background, sit down white table cloth, table service and plenty of food options). You could explore the hotel and all of the cisterns. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. If I could rate...
