"Hard to find the first time, but ideally located overall. Towns and champagne tour route nearby. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. We did not self-cater but with a boulangerie a short walk it would have been easy. "Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the place’s origin, but there isn’t even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isn’t expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"

Christine (the owner) could not have been more helpful, she was genuinely concerned about making sure everything was OK and you were having a good time - which I was!
