"Excellent location near station and many restaurants. There did not seem to be provision for separation of recyclables from general refuse within the hotel. The practice of using disposable cutlery and cups at breakfast is wasteful. A lot of plastic."

Great Place to Stay in Matsue
"Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."

Verified traveller
Matsue is off the usual tourist track but so worth the effort. Tourist information caters for English in both reception and pamphlets. The castle is every interesting as is the home of the Samurai. We achieved what we planned.
