"Great host in Peter, great location, great value."

"This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. We were close to town but still out far enough to have plenty of space. Our host was very communicative and checkin and checkout were super easy. It was great to open the windows and let the breezes come through, wish we could’ve stayed longer!A couple of notes- one of the smaller bedrooms has a large opening above the door so doesn’t totally seal off from the hallway, and bring all pantry items beyond coffee, sugar, salt and pepper.It’s a lovely house!"

"Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car."

"We had a fantastic team at Brighton motels and hotels. Great location, bakery, subway liquor and fuel station close by walking distance.. comfortable rooms with a door section on it. We enjoyed staying and look forward to come back again thank you so much."

"Beautiful historic cottage, tastefully renovated decorated and furnished. Nice breakfast provision. Big plus for the smart tv with Netflix. The hosts are very nice and caring. We would definitely come back here next time we visit Tasmania."

"We had a nice stay, great location over looking river, we saw a Bandicoot in the garden one night. Would have been nice with little extras like milk, dishwasher tablets etc, tourist information, pool was dirty. But lovely overall "

"Our flight was delayed and Joe willing to wait for us and offering to make dinner for us but we didn’t accept.However Joe gave us a bottle of wine ,my husband enjoyed very much and wanted to buy one bottle for my friend back in Adelaide but when we enquired Joe where we can buy it,Joe offered us another bottle! He and his partner,Renata have been so nice and friendly,they treat us like a friend Wish him very best"
