"We had an extremely relaxing four nights at the cabin and highly recommend Lake Settons. The cabin was very close to the lake,it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. We would definitely stay again."

"Le temps n'étant de la partie (pluie et fraîcheur , 18/20° dans la journée et 6/8° la nuit ) Jean François et son épouse nous ont proposé gentillement d utiliser le chauffage. malgré tout avec les quelques rayons de soleil l environnement est superbe . "cerises sur le gateau" un magnifique couche de soleil nous a enchantés. Nombreuses visites de, la region : Bibracte et son Mont , l'abbaye de la pierre qui vire , Autun etc. Nous sommes malgré le temps content de notre sejour. "

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. Tout était parfait : propreté impeccable, endroit très calme, gîte très cosy. Hôtesse très accueillante et très sympatique et qui plus est adore les animaux. Je recommande les yeux fermés! "The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...
