"Good points Beautiful old fashioned (in a good way) hotel. Shiny brass and polished wood. Staff very friendly and tried to help fix the problems. Room clean, quiet, well-appointed (a microwave would have been nice), bed comfortable. Good central location Inexpensive Problems We were given two sets of keys. One key didn’t fit the lock on the front door (it was replaced by staff) The bathroom door couldn’t be closed. That was fixed on our first morning."

"The sun was burning on the day of arrival at 11am , 40 degrees. We asked the receptionist, a gentleman (unfortunately I didn't remember his name) to drop off the luggage first, and he checked us in earlier. :) Room size , bathroom size is generous. Bed is comfy, bed sheets and towels are clean. My only "complaint" is that there was no complimentary water (2 bottles for guests). I am not sure if most hotels don't provide that anymore. "Staff were lovely. R I om nice and clean. No pool so the only pool that coukd be used was the one at the frintbwhich we didnt like the idea of using. Spoke to the duty manager abd she gave us complementary breakfast which was so nice of her which made up for not being able to swim so we did have simething nice to remember the hoyel by."

"Staff were very attentive , friendly and helpful. Rooms were large , clean and whilst some parts a little dated were more than adequate for my needs on a short stay and were excellent value. Property is a decent base to visit the city of Perth and surrounding areas but not alot in the immediate area if you didnt have a form of transport . Restaurant and bar did some very good food and was well looked after. Very happy with my stay."
