"I’m not a complainer but this time, yes I am. The first thing is we had to put up a $50 cash deposit which was returned at check out. The room was ok for the money. The toilet seat was broken. The hot water didn’t last long enough. The area where the water control handle is was coming off the wall. Lamp shades had stains on them. Yes, this was a basic room, but dang no ice bucket? "We have stayed at margaritaville once before we really enjoy the property and cabin! Unfortunately the River was flooded and the kayaks weren’t in the best condition for such an intense River. Over all we had a blast. The second floor was perfect for the teenage boys to have some privacy and fun. We had everything we need to have awesome family dinners and our pets we’re safe and in heaven!"

"I booked a room online and paid with a card at that time. There were instructions as well as an email sent to me which include check in times/office hours until 10 pm. We got there about 20 minutes before 10 pm to find the office locked. On the door, a piece of paper where the office hours had been altered by scribbling out "10pm" with a sharpie and replacing it with "9pm.""

"We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with some nature time. We had a lovely stay. The owner was very upfront about damage from a hurricane so I knew I should expect it. There were downed trees and remnants of what looked to be a forest fire. The view on the dock was priceless! The two kids rooms were a bit warm."

"The property is amazing! Very well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. Loved the cabin and it’s decor. Very cozy and had the comforts of home. Our family that lives in Mayo, FL (near the cabin) has atvs so we were able to take advantage of the trails across the street from the cabin. The river was flowing super fast due to the weather so we weren’t able to fish or kayak but we still had a blast! We would definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to come back!!"
