"This is a beautifully and tastefully restored vintage property. The hosts are welcoming and multilingual. I highly recommend it. My only minor complaint was that I found it impossible to turn off the air conditioning at night - I don't like to sleep with AC. My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. But that's minor, and I'm sure that if we'd said something the management would have...

"Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. "Location was great, close to the heart of the old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Balcony looking on to the old city wall was nice. However, the bed had no top sheet - just a bottom sheet and a blanket. We tried to get a sheet of one of the bunk beds, but it was dirty and smelly. Staff provided a top sheet when asked and we fitted it ourselves. There were no tea or coffee making facilities anywhere. The TV had no channels at all, so was purely for decoration."
