Fern Haven A modern take on Hocking Hills cabins

Escape to this brand new build - a modern cabin with everything you need for a luxurious getaway in the woods. A short 10-20 minute drive to the main Hocking Hills attractions - Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave, this cabin is a perfect place to unwind with your loved one. Nestled on 5 acres and 1 other cabin you'll be able to enjoy trails on the property as well. This cabin was designed with modern touches and a wall of windows to bring nature to you!

Fern Haven is the perfect romantic escape and features a wall of windows that brings the outdoors inside for you to enjoy. Vaulted ceilings throughout the space and an open concept living and kitchen area are perfect for spending time together. Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances help elevate the kitchen and provide everything you need to prepare a meal while you're away. Walk back into the master to find a king bed and a door with direct access to the deck with hot tub just a few feet away. The ensuite master bathroom has a double vanity and modern touches to make your experience feel crisp and clean. We think Fern Haven is perfect for a couple or small family. We have a sleeper sofa that has a pull out queen bed should you need an extra place to sleep. Enjoy the wrap around deck and the fire pit area as well as access to trails that run throughout the property. If it's rainy, enjoy the record player, books, games, puzzles, and DVD player as you relax inside.

Please be mindful as you do have a neighboring cabin nearby, Fern Woods.
Other things to note
Fern Woods and Fern Haven can be booked together if you'd like to have a larger group. Otherwise, please note that there is another cabin nearby that may have other guests. You may also run into other guests on the trails if you choose to hike on the property.

Vinton County requires a 6% lodging tax be paid for your stay.

Holiday weekends require a 3 night stay.

Fern Haven for the past 2 years has become one of the best cabins in the Hocking Hills area. Before Carleen and I started hosting this wonderful cabin in June of 2022, the ratings neared 5 stars with almost 100 reviews and that's just on Airbnb.

Hi, we're Kevin and Carleen and we love to host guests at our properties. If we aren't at our kids' sporting events, we are traveling the beautiful USA. We enjoy some great hiking trails, sitting outside having a drink while listening to live music, and traveling.

Cozy getaway
Cozy secluded house with all the amenities. Would recommend as the hot tub and fire pit were just what my husband and I needed as we enjoyed a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. Also recommend the Sauna Pods at The Chalets about 20 mins away.

Our stay was wonderful! It was cute and cozy! We enjoyed spending time on the deck and in the hot tub! The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere both inside and outside. Charming Cabin
This is such a romantic little place for two. Nice and quiet and private. Between the fireplace, the hot tub, and the walking trails, it’s a great way to relax, unwind, and have fun without ever leaving there. The wraparound porch up on a ravine was very dreamy even in the winter. We kept all the window blinds up and enjoyed a woodsy view from every part of the cabin. There are other cabins on the property but they’re separated by trees, so you still get a very secluded feel- which we absolutely loved. I had a couple questions and the host, Kevin, was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything, we look forward to coming back!

Great cabin!
Great cabin, clean and close to nearby attractions. Wife loved the dishwasher!! And I believe they had city water!! Or a filter, no egg/sulfur smell and tasted fine, other cabins we’ve stayed at had well water, we for sure will return!

Incredible get away!
My partner and I had an incredible getaway at Fern Haven in Hocking Hills, Ohio. The picturesque surroundings, perfect weather, and cozy atmosphere created the ideal setting for a romantic retreat. A fully stocked kitchen to prepare your favorite dish, a relaxing in-cabin couples massage with Brooke to ease your stress, a short jaunt to Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery will add whimsy and fun, and lastly stargazing from the hot tub each night will be simply enchanting. Highly recommended for your next escape!

As we wrote in the guest book, Fern Haven checked all of the boxes for comfort, cleanliness and decor. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The only suggestion we would make is to add an additional surface (small table?) in the bedroom for placing backpacks, duffel bags or suitcases. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
