Large Off-Grid Luxury Cabin- creek, land, & views

Summary:
Escape to rustic serenity in our 3-bed, 2-bath off-grid cabin. This lodge is nestled amidst the mountains and outside is perfect to enjoy views, the private creek and trail system, or grill for an outdoor dinner. Please be aware, you will have LIMITED solar power. The power also affects the water, so conserving energy is of extreme importance. There is WIFI and TV, though it can be spotty. 4 wheel drive needed in the winter. 3 min from McCammon, 12 min from Lava, 20 min from Pocatello.

The Space:
This off-grid lodge sits on 80 acres of land backed up to BLM land. It is powered by solar and propane, and has a private well. There is a creek running through the property. There Is wild life, views, and space for all! You will have access to the main two levels of the cabin. The lower garage level is not available for guests. On the main level, you have two bedrooms with queen beds, the kitchen and main living room. This level opens up to a large wrap around deck. Upstairs is the master bedroom and second bathroom.

Guest Access:
We are only a 3 minute drive to McCammon and 12 to Lava. No garage access.

The Neighborhood:
This cabin is nestled in the Harkness Canyon with a view or Haystack ridge. There are few other homes on the road.

Other Things to Note:
If you are booking in the winter, you MUST HAVE 4 wheel drive. Otherwise, you may have to hike up. :) Because the house is solar powered, we ask that guests be mindful and conservative with their energy consumption. There is a wood burning stove which we stock wood for. There is a grill and fire pit which are propane powered. PLEASE CONSERVE ENERGY. The house is ran on solar power. If the power panel goes below 50, not only does the power drain quicker than the first half, but the water pump will no longer work and you will not have water.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available through the app or by text.

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cabin. Was so relaxing. We visited lava hot springs and enjoyed soaking up the warm waters. Thank you again for sharing your cozy home.

Great little place
The house is a piece of art. Whoever built it did an amazing job. They put a lot of work in it to get it off the grid and fully functional. The solar held up and we had a nice stay. If I had any complaints it would have been a little more instruction about the heat in the bedrooms and especially the upstairs. It takes a hot minute to cool that upstairs bedroom. And make sure you know the door code or print out your information before you leave. Once you get to that house you can't get internet and you will have to go back to the main road to pull it up.
