Things to do nearby:
The house is about a 5 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 4 minutes to the spa, and 5 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 18 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.
Other things to note:
- Red Oak Manor is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- We provide our guests $1500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. The cost of this is already embedded in the cleaning fee.
- Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more.
- There are two driveways plus some parallel parking spots in front of the house. Altogether, the property can accommodate around 10 vehicles
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. Seven of the nine bedrooms, plus the downstairs living room and the downstairs theater room, feature a smart TV where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a $6 per person fee.
- Linens and towels provided
- Pack n play, high chair, kid dishes/utensils, and baby monitor provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!
This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests
enjoying their retreat.
NOISE
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Keep noise indoors during these hours.
• No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.
PARKING
• Keep all tires off the road.
• Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval
from your host.
• Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
• No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is
available with written approval from your host.
OUTDOOR FIRES
• High wildfire risk area!
• No open fires.
• No unattended fires.
• No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency
conditions, check MassanuttenVillage.com or electronic sign at
entrance for updates.
ALCOHOL
No open containers on roads or in common areas.
PETS
• Leash always required when outside.
• Clean up after your pets.
TRASH
• Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or
carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.

- Please note that if you would like to send packages to the property, you do so at your own risk. USPS is particularly unreliable. We can not be held responsible for late or undelivered packages. Additionally, we charge $25 for any return services requested, in additional to actual postage.
