Welcome to Holiday Haven, your perfect retreat home centrally located on the resort at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac backing onto acres of wooded open space. As soon as you step in the door you'll start to unwind. Relax in the private 7 person hot tub overlooking acres of woods, or cozy up to a crackling wood burning fireplace. Savor coffee or brunch in the screened in deck, laugh together at the 12 seat dining table and host a games tournament in the game room. This home has lots of spaces to come together or cozy up apart.

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.
Enter the house on the main floor and unload in the sitting room. Main floor has a 12 seat dining room, kitchen, fireplace room and laundry. The main floor deck includes a shaded screened sitting area and a BBQ deck. A few steps up is a master suite with a king bed and ensuite bath. Two other bedrooms with queen beds share a full bath. Access the game room, another king sized master bed, and 4 bunk beds downstairs. From the upper deck, or from the game room, access the huge outdoor deck with the hot tub, seating area and fire table.
SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 minutes from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 12 minutes from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.
This home is located inside the Massanutten community and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests seasonally in the summer for $6/person/day (subject to change - call ahead for availability). Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.**

This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations, as well as federal and state laws and local ordinances. There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. Please respect their privacy and property rights, along with those of other guests in our private residential community.
NOISE – noise that is unreasonable in the judgement of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibit at any time. Quiet hours are between 10PM and 7AM
PARKING – All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are “highways” for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County Ordinance. Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home’s owner or property manager has told you he/she has explicit permission for you to do so. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at the MPOA Owners’ Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive. Note: buses, campers and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval, they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.
NO OPEN FIRES- You are in an area that is at risk for wildfire! Never leave any outdoor fire unattended.
ALCOHOL – Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.
PETS – Pets are not allowed to run at large. They must be leashed at all times with off this property. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.
TRASH – DO NOT place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches. It will attract wildlife that could endanger you and damage the property.
