"My husband and I went for just a weekend getaway and it was super cozy and relaxing! The only complaint (which isn’t a complaint) was just it wasn’t fully advertised that the owners love onsite also. Which really wasn’t an issue because they were quiet and you never saw them. Loved waking up to the view and in such a beautiful home! "

"The town of Eureka is small and the amenities are few. We didn’t come to see Eureka necessarily, but go to other places from there. The location of this place was perfect — Main Street — and it had everything that we needed. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will do it again! "

"Our group was in the area for UTVing and hunting grouse. Communication before and after was great. The house worked great for our group of five. They have a crockpot! I always bring one because so many do not. The provision of basic supplies is helpful. "

"As soon as we opened the door, we knew we hit the jackpot when finding this place! We loved it as soon as we saw it. The whole place is clean and organized, everything we could think of was already provided to us: clean towels, soap, shampoo, dishes and cutlery, etc. We were only staying here cause we needed a place to stay during the nights, but I really wish we had the time to explore the property a bit more. I feel like I missed out a lot! We got lost the first couple of nights trying to find the place in pitch black, so if you can try checking in during the day and make note of landmarks and when to turn in. THAT SAID, I think part of the appeal is that it is so secluded from everything. Mark and Pattie were extremely friendly and welcoming and we were glad to meet them before we left for our daily adventures. We've been looking to purchase some land for the last few years and this is exactly the type of cabin I've pictured building on it, so finding this gem was an added bonus. If I were to make one small comment about it, I would say getting the hot water in the shower took a bit of figuring out, so be sure to ask Mark or Pattie if there's a trick to it if you can't get it going. Not sure if it was just us. But ultimately it was a very minor thing and had no impact on an otherwise pleasant stay. I'm definitely planning on coming back here when I come back to Eureka again. "We absolutely loved our stay here! It was surprising how open it is. The place looks even better than the pictures and is unbelievably nice for the price. The kitchen was well equipped and was fantastic for feeding a large family. We saw endless hummingbirds and swallows throughout our stay. This was the perfect place to experience the best part of Montana. It was exactly what we needed to stretch out, relax, and explore. We are already talking about planning to return next year!"
