About the house...

A private hideaway nestled in the woods. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but so close to all the many activities the area has to offer. Beautiful setting for all the seasons.

Very clean, all surface sanitizing cleaning standards and comfortable well-furnished home!

PURIFIED WATER! We have a reverse osmosis water system for drinking and soft odorless water through the home.

Wireless high speed internet, smart TV with DVD player in living room additional smart TVs in basement and primary bedroom.

Keyless entry to the home.

We have 6 beds that can sleep 12 people!

Main bedroom offers California King bed. Loft space features 2 full size beds and a queen size bed that can each sleep 2 people.

*WALKOUT* Basement has 2 jackknife full/queen sofa beds that also sleep 2 people each.

The house is setup with one sleeping space on the main floor, another sleeping space upstairs in the loft, and the third sleeping space down in the basement. The house is spacious for all to enjoy together but not feel on top of one another.

Fully functional kitchen, black stainless appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, convection oven microwave), coffeepot, & blender. Island with seating and extended dining table that looks into living room with open concept floorplan. Living/dining rooms have many windows and 2 sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to deck, allowing beautiful forest views while relaxing outdoors as well as from many places inside the home.

Upstairs loft overlooks living and dining rooms and has forest views as well.

Full size washer/dryer on-site in basement!

Charcoal AND propane grill (***but we may or may not have charcoal or propane on site depending on prior guest usage, so we ask you take note and please plan accordingly)

About the location...

Located between Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, MI and Pentwater Lake in Pentwater, MI and only a 5-10 minute walk to the Lake Michigan private community beach. BONFIRES ALLOWED ON THIS BEACH!!

(**Please note: there are many stairs to get to this beach, however are also many other beaches close by, if stairs are an obstacle.)

Many restaurants nearby in Pentwater, Hart and Mears and activities such as beach yoga, art events, horseback riding, golf, wineries, breweries, boating and more all about 10 minutes drive. Silver Lake ORV park is a fun and unique attraction where you can drive your Jeep, SUV, or rented vehicle right on the sand dunes! If you don’t have a vehicle, you can also enter the dune park on the pedestrian side and hike the dunes away from the vehicle traffic, but still with amazing Silver Lake and Lake Michigan views, as well as able to watch the "duners" off-roading on the sand.

On the other side of Silver Lake is downtown Mears with several more attractions like Craig's Cruisers amusement center and the locally famous Chicken Shack. And if you are without sand vehicles and water toys, there are many places in town to rent something to play with. Or you can take a guided tour of the historic dunes through Mac Woods Dune Rides in Mears for a completely different experience as well! Travel a little further south to see Little Sable lighthouse on Lake Michigan and venture all the way to the top if you like!
