"The hotel is incredible. Rooms are spacious and some offer an incredible view of the Campana. There is nearby parking. The hotel is in a walkable distance to everything, yet it is quiet and safe at night,"
"Marcia and her staff were so helpful throughout our stay. Great location for accessing San Gimignano.
Great WiFi throughout the property.
Many thanks "
"Pure sanctuary for Tuscan relaxation with the most beautiful views. Everything about this place is wonderful, from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and well looked after. "
"Personale molto gentile, l'appartamento era un po' datato, letto scomodo, le stoviglie date in dotazione non ben pulite, spazioso, posizione dell'appartamento in pieno centro a San Gimignano"
"Il Castagnolo was the perfect quick Tuscan stay for our family. The accommodations are pleasant and comfortable. The pool is cold and overlooks the beautiful countryside, and it’s a very quick ride into San Gimignano town as well as surrounding Tuscan vineyards."

10/10 Excellent
"Very beautiful spot in the heart of San Gimignano. Room was clean with all comforts. Staff has been very friendly and accommodating. To get here was a challenge and a bit difficult (use Google maps - Waze wouldn’t get us here) but it’s a lovely place to stay. "
Welcome "Casa San Gimi" your perfect base for exploring the wonders of Tuscany!

"Very clean and cute property in San Gimignano. Property was clean and close to many shops and the best restaurant with an amazing view. Fabio, the host, was incredible and helpful! He communicated well and was highly patient with us as we tried navigating the various train/bus system in Europe to get to San Gimignano. He also connected us with his upstairs neighbor, Dr. Bruno, who was our wine tour guide. Dr. Bruno had a wealth of knowledge about the Tuscan region and beautiful San Gimignano! My wife and I were truly satisfied with our honeymoon trip!"
"Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi is in an amazing location near the center of town. Quick walks to panoramic locations, restaurants and shops. Our hostess, Marzia, allowed us to store our bags while we waited for check in time to approach. She provided us with a map and many recommendations for dining upon check in and pointed out locations to take pictures. The hotel has a hidden patio to enjoy some wine and just relax in the evenings. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. Marzia and her crew delighted us with an amazing breakfast spread of various fresh cheeses, bread, fruit and cereal. As well as many Italian coffee options. "
"Wonderful single room with balcony. Great breakfast, polite and friendly staff, and a breakfast room with the most amazing views. Would definitely stay here again. "
"We loved our stay. The hotel had really nice breakfasts included and the pool was fantastic after a hot day walking around the old city. We had a standard room and we were expecting it to be small. It was very small - it was difficult to find space for our cases and the shower was so small that it was hard to use it without banging your elbows. The room did include a nice outdoor balcony which made up for the super small room. The hotel was an easy walk into the old city."
"This hotel is not family or vacation friendly. This is for a local tourist that’s traveling with a backpack. There are about 80 stairs to get to your room, so take that into consideration for every time you have to go back to your room. There is also no air conditioning and the owner told us just keep your windows open. That was also not doable with the noise outside and all the birds that would fly inside bc there are no curtains or nets on windows. We went in may-June and it was cool outside but very very hot in the room so I can’t imagine staying here when hot outside. There is also parking but about a mile away and all uphill to go to this hotel. It was torture staying here with kids and when we asked to change room the person in charge was very rude. "
