"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in the Texas Blue Apple Cottage. Very nicely decorated and appointed. And I enjoyed the little deck on the back for both nights we were there. It is directly next door to a bakery which you must try and just down the road from a restaurant that had live music on the Friday night we went by. The only critique I would have is there was no closet to hang any clothes. Other than that the property was great."
