"The venue was pub accommodation so a bit dated and needs a good reno. Room was very clean. It was central to the places we needed to get to. The room did meet our needs, somewhere to sleep, shower and get dressed, as out for most of the day. The room was very stuffy, so needed to get the air con fired up to give the room a fresh feel. I would book in their again because of the affordability and location. Nice easy parking at the door to the room, no stairs."

The balcony rooms on the car park side are much preferred as the rooms on the western side are very small, though clean and comfortable. There is no crockery or cutlery in the rooms, but it can be requested from reception. No lift so if you get a first floor room you have the stairs to contend with with your luggage."

"At first, we were quite confused to book the motel because of the location as it was one hour away from Nelson bay. However, once we arrived, we found it was worth it. Such a lovely staff and clean room. Plus, the country club is just behind the hotel so it was really convenient to go for a drink and dinner. Also, enjoying the karaoke. "
