Minnie's Cottage, Killeavy

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"The cottage is warm, comfortable and has a view of Killeavy castle. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They had essentials waiting for us in the kitchen (tea, milk, bread, etc.) which were very much appreciated. Definitely need a car if you plan on staying here. Road noise may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper plus be very careful coming out of the driveway. The locals drive fast on this road."

3.5 star property

"We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you."

Cleomack House Home from Home @Mourne Mountains

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"We had a group of seven, including two children, and stayed for a week. The property is a semi-detached house in a quiet area near a cul-de-sac. Check-in was very easy thanks to a secure key box, which was especially helpful since our flight was delayed due to a CrowdStrike issue. The amenities were exactly as described in the advertisement: one super king bed, one king bed, one double bed, and a single bed. The house also features a kitchen diner and a separate living area. Additionally,...

MONEYDARRAGE COTTAGE - mountain and sea views (Hot Tub available for hire)

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (18)
"Aileen and family were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was great, the location was fantastic, and the information in the guest handbook was brilliant. We will certainly be going back, for at least a week next time. We also used the trip to obtain a PET Passport for our puppy Juke. And and after advice from the hosts, Liam the Vet in Kilkeel (Mourne Vets) was very accommodating, and not to expensive, so happy days. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Thanks Aileen...
